Programma:
Made especially for 4-6 year old, the Teeny Samurai program focuses on the vivid images of the honorable Japanese warriors to teach children about their own power, their capacity to protect and foster excellent lives, and to have a heck of a lot of fun.
We do a lot of rolling around to teach the childrens' bodies to make their way more safely to the ground. Beginng as white belts, and progressing through colored belts, childre naturally develop coordination, skill, balance, cross-lateral intelligence, self-care, emotional intelligence, and a sense of self and group. Interestingly, young children are very aware of their power, their presence and their relationship to adults. We try to cultivate in particular their sense of how they affect ofthers, and what happens with individuals and groups.
